An Introduction to the Ecocentric Art of Alexandre Hogue
A prominent member of the American Scene, Alexandre Hogue is best known for his stark, unsentimental depictions of the Great Plains during the 1930s. On April 29, the Dallas Museum of Art will host a discussion about Hogue and his ecocentric agenda led by Timothy Egan, the author of the National Book Award-winning chronicle of the Dust Bowl years, The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl.
