About the event
A representation of several Mexican American cultures and regions including Chicano, Bordeña, and Fronterizo through works by eight renowned artists: Gaspar Enriquez, Elisa Jimenez, Luis Jimenez, Antonio Castor L., Francisco Delgado, Adrian Aguirre, Citlali Delgado and Osvaldo Delgado. With their diverse artistic expressions, these creators delve into themes of identity, heritage, and personal journey. Exhibit continues through February 15th, 2025.
FRIDAY, 6:00–8:00pm: Opening reception with music by Mariachi Santa Cruz (from Presidio) and light refreshments. Tickets are $20 for the general public, free for museum members.
SATURDAY, 12:30–3:30pm: Talks and presentations by several of the artists including Elisa Jimenez demonstrating her couture sculpture.
