The 521 All-Stars

In 1996, Byron Baldwin, a professional photographer and old baseball player and fan, was driving down highway 521 and noticed the sign for the 521 All-Stars Baseball League and stopped. He mentioned his love for the game and asked if he could take some pictures. The manager, “Sugar Bear,” welcomed him, and a long-term relationship began that continues to this day. Byron, now 81, continues to stay in touch with some of the players who are still alive.

Individual images available for purchase at $275.

In addition to the individual images, Baldwin has created a limited edition of 25 sets, all containing the entire collection of 64 images. Baldwin hand-produces these on archival paper.
